He picked it up for $2K with a salvage title. He's not sure if he's going to keep the Dr Seuss stuff yet.

Dude that's a steal. Myself I'd ditch the Dr. Sues stuff but otherwise it looks pretty nice.  waytogo

That is a total steal for an R1100S, salvage title or not.  If it's all there and it works, heck yeah.

Personally I'd ditch the kiddie graphics, but to each their own.  Wink

I was so close to dropping 10 large for an immaculate race-prepped R1100S BoxerCup edition a few years ago... PWM wheels, race exhaust, uprated suspension... and all the street-legal stock hardware, too.  It was sold by the time I found the ad. Cry

Don't know where else to legitimately post this but it looks like someone could get a great deal, sans the crack usage.  Guy on a local California moto forum is packing up and moving back to Illinois. 2009 M1100 currently @ $3850.00 with no reserve.  Bike will sell in less than 24 hours.  I have no affiliation with the guy, just spreading the word... If any rules were broken, delete the post.

I LOVE the Dr Seuss bike.  He has to keep the graphics, how else do you commemorate getting a good bike at a fantastic price?  How can you look at that bike and not grin like an idiot?  It's playful without being stupid.  I might have a different opinion if it was covered in My Little Pony decals, but Dr Seuss has universal appeal.

Yes but let's say it's not the fact that it's Dr. Seuss that's the problem, but the color combo/placement. I suggest a contest for the best Dr. Seuss inspired SBK design Smiley.

Can't we just go back 5 years when no one gave a damn about them. When they were selling on craigslist for $6k?!

If I could go back in time and prevent any movie from being made, it would be Tron legacy. make the beast with two backs you Tron.

Dude soooo many times when they were going for 8k left and right I told myself I needed to buy one...then practically over night same bikes were 12k...then it was out of control. Smfh
