Tongue

BTW thanks for that referal Steve. I'm leaning towards keeping my bike now tho...just had it dyno tuned and chewed up the Cleveland streets all last night...I don't know if I could possibly have a better 2nd bike than this for  street riding exclusively. And I might regret selling the first bike I ever *really* built.

Now you're talking! I got a Guzzi V50 in a trade over the weekend. I'm building that thing to tear up the streets of Atlanta.

Listen guys...

you simply can't call names here...even in fun...even if you're talking to your best friend.

It will get you suspended.

This is your only warning Steve.

They are such pretty bikes.  I want to get me one of those one day just to stare at.

That's such a great bike and that price seems very reasonable.

Since I bought a Norton Commando frame, I'm always on the lookout for parts.  So when that listing from Dallas was posted, I hit the link and tried a search for Norton.  http://dallas.craigslist.org/ndf/mcy/4086550906.html  came up.  $10000 for a non-running, no tank Norton Commando?  Really?

 Hey, she's not seized!
There is a Kawasaki Z1 for sale on the street near here for only 9000 bucks, and there are only a few dents in the tank!

Guy puts $35k into an 1198S... then only puts 95 miles on the clock?  Roll Eyes

"$35k invested"

Lemme see, an investment of $35k that returns $21k (if it sells for that much)... so we're talking a loss of $14k, AND loss of taxes, insurance, and title/license fees?  That's one seriously crappy "investment."  Between 2009 and now, my 401k has done a LOT better than that. cheeky

LOL. I'd probably do the same if I had more time and money than I knew what to do with.

I've been looking at used BMW's lately --same kinda thing; guy buys one new, farkles it to the hilt then commutes to work on it for one summer, after which it gets stowed for years. It's an interesting phenomenon.
