I saw that same ad here in Madison WI.  $2500 for a bike easily worth $8000-$9000.  I didn't post it because I've been busy.  Apparently, so has the scammer.

See, the bike is really in up-state Alaska.  If you give me the money through this escrow service/cashier's check/paypal, I'll have it shipped to you.

I'd really rather just mail you cash, it's so much easier.
Would it be OK if I paid the full amount?

Actually I am traveling in Zimbabwe on business for the next 5 years, so I will have my agent meet you.  It is a small inconvenience, but I will be willing to let you pay only 10% to confirm the shipping.

I will have him email you this week to complete the transaction, and until the bike arrives your location please to be kindly patient and to contact my agent again for the full payment.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.
