could be the 100% interest he paid...I saw that listing and I was like...huh? 

and on an unrelated note my 1098 with 5k extras is only worth 8500 or not !?!

This is a wild coincidence at a traffic light a year ago. This was a fellow from Santa Fe and he had the 70s round case in the back of his pick up the day I met him. This was his craigslist score....of course not from Albq


and this week on ebay he has this beast which I am actually intrigued by and if i only had the money

Doesn't the Tricolore have gold Ohlins? And who the hell is going to pay $99K for a bike that is nothing more than custom painted. the 1098 Tricolore was what, $29k?

Good point! I can't even see the rear shock but it is looking more and more like a stock 1098
