Alright well I want to buy a car and or SUV that Gaga would want. Baller like its about to roll up to the red carpet of the 2011 VMA's. If its a car it has to have 22's if its a SUV it must have bro wheels with nautical stars in the center. I also would not mind driving a mini/conversion vans as long as its older like the ones with the bubble windows and a mural on the sides of any mythical creature. If its a van I have to have a bike rack to fit my bomb ass bmx bike on top. I currently have a Civic but I nailed a sign and the 2x4ft piece of aluminum that said "ONE WAY" totaled it. Damn Hondas, that leads me into my next "bugaboo" I will not buy a HONDA. Any vehicle I want to buy must have a sick stereo system so I can just jam out to Wiz Kelifia since I have been a fan of him since like twelve years before you ever thought you heard of him.

I only have 7 dollars, I can meet you at a park or something to drop off the cash just leave the keys under the floor mat.

http://janesville.craigslist.org/mcy/2224327681.html

Bought a stock looking R75/6 to cannibalize for the sidecar project.
But the Harley lookin' Beemer sprang to mind. Glen Bishop
(Thoroughbred Cycles) did the following work about 15K miles ago: top end (valves and guides) which came from an R90/6 (bigger intake valves). He
also did the timing chain, rings, rear main seal, steering head bearings,
tranny seals were renewed and gutted the electrics. He has, as of Feb. 17th, given it a re-newal of fluids and systems check: Greased fittings and bearings, lubed splines, adjusted valves. Ready to ride!

What's modified?
Engine: R90/6 heads, 750cc bored to 800cc, light wristpins, balanced pistons/conn.
rods and lightened flywheel. Luftmeister 2into1 exhaust. Electrics;
stock wiring gutted and relocated inbetween a pair of FatBob split
tanks. I put
AMF/Harley-Davidson tags in place of the engine beemer tags. The headlight is a 5" chrome aftermarket. Ignition key
relocated in the seat lock hole (made a SS housing for it). The
speedo/tach are from a BMW R75/5 and mounted in a Harley instrument bezel on
the tank. Where the key switch should be (on this instrument bezel) is a BMW volt
meter. The wheels are from a /5 (more chrome) as well as the toaster
battery tins (not repops). Forks are from a 74 R60/6, they are made for the drum brakes not the disc which was standard for 750cc and up displacement models. The subframe is
cut off (and braced) behind the funky tractor seat (imported from
Germany along with the drag bars, /2 barend turn signals)...
Luftmeister hidden spring chrome (oh, yeah baby!!) sidestand. There's
more to this story but you gotta call for it. Footpegs are chrome &
raised rubber rib aftermarkets (matching the grips). The fenders:
Harley. Except for the engine housing all the rest is hand polished
aluminum. And an National Cycle Flyscreen (for absolutely no
protection just bling)! Color: blue. It had 72k when it was rebuilt at
Thoroughbred's. Over 15k on it since. It first ran during HD's 100th
anniversary. Not a daily driver but revs freely and shifts smooth! This bike is unique and made to ride well. Is is 10 out of 10? Its not a parking lot queen! I can
email pics. Was (partially) seen in the BMWON's taillight page. I'm open to suggestions for price. But I'm not suggestable. Neither am I suggesting that $8000.00 is the selling price.

Not that many, mind you...

But worse exist.

Any other questions feel free to ask... SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY

Even the rear stand got that stupid looking Gucci print on it.
How whacked in the head must you be to go that far?

And that right there is why I leave my bikes stock, for the most part.
I don't want to wind up on a Twinkie, Ho-Ho, and Welch's Grape Soda bender, and think that's a great friggin' idea to do to one of my bikes.

All those stuff easily puts the bike at over $10k to actually build. But it wont pay for the 2nd hand crack smoke that you get when you try to sell a bike for that much!

1972 Honda 600 Coupe - $2500 (Stoughton)

Date: 2011-03-19, 3:40PM CDT
Reply to: sale-97ubj-2274782336@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

1972 Honda 600 AZ600 coupe.

History of car:

Purchased in 1989 by me when I was in high school from someone who brought it to the midwest from California. I drove it for a couple summers while in high school then put it in storage in 1991 before heading off to college. 20 years later and it is time for this thing to be on the streets again.

Condition of the car:

This is a solid car, many of these rusted away over the years, especially ones that found there way to the midwest. There is some old bodywork on the rocker panels that will need to be redone, but all of the important areas are solid; floorboards, wheel wells, engine bay where the motor mounts are (this is an area these rusted away). All of the glass is there and no chips/cracks. The dashboard is solid without cracks that are common when these sit out in the sun. The headliner is complete with the overhead console. There is 56,000 miles on the car. It drove when I parked it, but I have not tried to even turn the motor over since rolling it out of storage. Before attempting this I would be replacing the oil and letting oil sit on the top of the pistons for a while to help lube things up. The carberator still moves freely, which is a good sign. The seats are complete, and the drivers seat has some tears in it, but the rear and passenger seat are in pretty good condition.

What it is like to drive one of these:

Well, to start off, you have 36 horsepower at your beck and call! No, not 136, and not 360, but a full on heartstopping 36. Magazine tests showed this thing could go 75 mph top speed. Thats 10mph FASTER than you can leagally drive in Wisconsin. Zero to 60, yep it does that too, 26 seconds flat! I like to think about it this way, this thing is so fast it can do the quarter mile in less time than it takes to get to 60mph. How many "supercars" do you see that while they may be able to get to 60 in about 4 seconds, take as much as 9 to 10 seconds to get through a quarter mile. This thing can get to the quarter mile about 6 seconds faster than it can get to 60mph. In all seriousness, it is a blast to drive. Being only about 1300 pounds, it is like driving a go cart. The motor actually pulls out pretty quick (considering) in first and second gear, hit 35 mph and grab third gear, yeah that's where it pretty much falls on its face. But put it on a tight little road and you can actually zip around having a pretty good time. Keep in mind, a "tight little road" appears twice as wide to this thing compared to "normal" sized cars. Speaking of the size of the car, it is super small but at 6' I actually fit in it just fine. You feel very intimindated driving it around though, all those people looking down at you from their ginormous Toyota Siennas and Honda Odysseys is really scary. Its best to avoid an accident in this thing, I would guess you would fare about as well as a cyclist. Long story short; its slow, its a death trap, and it will turn heads everywhere you take it.

What's next for this car:

This is not a parts car, but it is more than a weekend's worth of work to get it looking good and on the road. With minor bodywork skills, some basic mechanical aptitude, and the time for it, this car will be back on the road turning more heads than it did in the late 80s. Someone is going to have a blast with this thing, which is why I am torn about selling it. But, seeing that I have given up trying to find time for it I believe it is best for it to go.

My price is firm, I am required to attempt to sell this car (yes, I am married). I know enough about these to know this is a fair price for what it is, and know that they are getting rarer every year. You can go buy a restored one for a lot more or an incomplete pile of rusted parts for $1000. If you are interested let me know, I can share more photos or you can come take a look at it. You can email me or call me at 608-345-4834

Thanks,

Rob

PLEASE PUT "HONDA 600" IN ANY EMAIL ABOUT THIS CAR SO I CAN SCRUB OUT SPAMMERS.
