Looks like it's gonna be a good night. Prelims have had some great fights. First time I've ever seen a Body Twister submission in a UFC fight.

Pretty good card. Some great fights throughout the night. The big boys fought a technical fight, Overeem had won the first 4 rounds, but with a few seconds left in the 5th, Rozenstruik ripped Overeem's lip almost completely off. Hadn't seen that before. Nasty cut.

Joshua fought to win and fought smart. His tactics showed great respect for his opponent.

Here's the shot if you haven't seen it. Like I said it was a technical fight from the big boys. You don't normally see that. Anyway it was good, Overeem was fully aware of the power Raz has and vice versa. Overeem had hit him with many big shots that would drop most humans, and took him to the ground a couple times. He was ahead on all cards, but with 4sec left and gassed, he got caught with a left and this full body lunge overhand right. Boom. Ok, he immediately jumped back up, immediately. Raz had turned and walked away. The ref didn't initially stop it, then did. I say bad call by the ref, bell was gonna ring in 1-2sec, and Overeem would have gotten the win. Oh well, it happens in real time and the call was made. Brutal cut/tear.

Alright some big fights this week. Who's gonna win?
I kinda like Covington on this one.  Big under dog.
I'll take Holloway and of course Nunes.

Gonna be a great night. Early prelims had a couple good fights. Prelims are getting ready to go. 3 competitive title fights on the main card. I might need the defibrillator.

Aldana was getting picked apart pretty good by Vieira, then BOOM! ðŸ'¥ That left hook was nasty. She's getting better and better.

Hooper's fight against Teymur was awesome. Mounted triangle for the ground and pound. He's only 20.   Post fight interview he said he was happy with the quick win, and is gonna go get some Froyo with M&M's on top.

Faber brought all the heart, but got destroyed. Retire for good brother, you don't have anything to prove. Yan is an awesome fighter.

Aldo looked great tonight, but they gave the decision to Moraes. He got robbed. Aldo beat his ass, chased him all over the ring. Oh well, maybe I missed something.

And NEW! Featherweight Champion of the world! Alexander Volkanovski!  ðŸ‡¦ðŸ‡º First native born Australian champion. What a make the beast with two backsing fight boys and girls. His camp prepared him perfectly to fight Max. I lost count of the leg kicks. Textbook fight.

Oh, I almost forgot. They were talking back and forth for most of the fight. Doesn't get much better than that one.

WOW! Usman-Covington was an absolute war. Pretty sure Kamaru broke Colby's jaw in the 3rd. Some big boy blows from both fighters. Kamaru wore Colby out with body shots. Late in the 5th he dropped him twice and the second time he pounced and the ref stopped it.
