I thought the semis were very good fights also. Except for the Bader fight. I don't mind seeing fights go to the ground when the two are actually doing something but the UFC doesn't need another lay and pray guy like Sean Shirk. Vinny will probably beat Bader anyways. I see Phillipe winning also that guy is pretty damn good. He could make an immediate impact.
On a side note. I think that Mir/Nog are two of the best coaches I've seen on the show. Especially Nog, I would love to have him as a coach. Very positive and really seems to care about the fighters. He just seems like an all around nice guy. Poor Mir got stuck with Junie and handled him pretty well. If Junie would have just listened to Mir and threw 3 punches he would have knocked the other guy out. I hope he can work out his problems because he seems to have a lot of natural talent.
This month should be a great month for fights. The Ulitmate Finally should be good and the PPV at the end of the month is just stellar.

Anyone watching the Fight for the Troops special tonight?? D*mn..what a knockout!! Thank you for not going in and punching the guy more!! I hate when fighters do that..when they clearly know the guy is out!! Anyway, the cause (troops suffering from TBI) is the reason I'm getting back into the medical aspect of my field.

Damnit IZ you always beat me to it. That was one hell of a knock out. The whole show was actually pretty good. The one fight that ended in an arm bar was good and the guy (can't think of his name) seemed to be a really good fighter but when he said that he had been waiting to break someone's arm like that, I cringed. No fighter should want to actually break another's bones. Anyways a really great fight and I loved what Koshcheck said "If that is not worth 5 dollars then I don't what else I can do." Well it certainly was worth 5 dollars and I donated it right after that fight. All in all I was pleasantly surprised with the show and love these ones because you get to see a lot of young guys or guys new to the UFC.

It's not over until the ref stops it. Guys have gotten caught after they stop, thinking the guy is out (Pete Sell, anyone?). I've also seen Wanderlei feign injury/semi-consciousness, only to draw a guy in. It's a fight, Adam; you go until it's done. The ref is the one who says it's done. Besides, in the heat of the fight, it's not always clear to the fighter if someone is out (from talking to fighters).

I couldn't watch the replay. Still cringe thinking about it. Great set of fights.

The Koscheck fight. He is getting a lot better with the standup as his fights progress. This fight proved it! http://www.ufc.com/index.cfm?fa=eventDetail.FightCard&eid=1808

TUF Finale was decent. Glad to see Bader do something other than lay and pray. Surprised Nover lost.
Really I was really happy for Junie Brownie. I really like the way he fights and hopefully he keeps training with Extreme Couture and continues to get better. Obviously the house and show were really getting to him even if he says he was just doing it for the camera. Reminds me a lot of Leben who is one of my favorite fighters.

I liked Junie a little more after the fight too. He apologized to Mir too after the fight for his behavior on the show..that showed some class! I'd like to see a rematch between him and Efrain

A rematch would be great . I think if Junie would have pushed that fight a little more (and threw 3 punches when Mir told him to) he would have knocked Efrain out. Can't wait to see what some of these guys do next. Also can't wait for the 27th. That is going to be one huge PPV

+1 on the PPV. I taped the finale, and will most likely see it later today, but my brother was really impressed with Junie

Fight night!!
Who you got?!
Me..Griffin, Silva and Nogueira.
I'd like to see Evans win since he's MSU alumni and undefeated but Griffin should take him.
Should all be good though!!
