I really just don't get our country and political correctness. 

So Dana uses offensive language (can't see the video) I'm assuming he called someone gay or f***t and called the reporter retarted.  Who gives a shit?   Do you really think that gay's or lesbians make a big part of the UFC's audience.  So now the man has to come out with an apology.  I was really hoping that Dana wouldn't apologize.  I hate the fact that no one can speak their mind in this country without offending someone.  Just like the thread about using the word retard,  it's really not directed at the mentally challanged but has now become a universal word for someone who is incredibly dumb.  Dana is actually a very good person that does a lot of charity work and also helps out a lot of the fighters and their families. 

Okay, mini rant over.  Lets move on and get to Anderson Silva destroying Leites.  I can't believe people think he has a chance against the Spider.

I'm not interested in watching Anderson Silva beat the poo out of another Middle weight there is no one in that division that can beat him. What I want to see is him and GSP fight at a 180 pound catch weight. Who cares about titles for that fight the winner would truly be the best pound for pound guy in the world or at least share that distinction with Fedor.

As far as the new season of TUF I'm glad I have a DVR so I can fast foreward through all the B.S. (which is most of the show) and just watch the training and the actual fights.

In all seriousness though, I would love to see the catch weight match between GSP and Silva but I don't think it will happen for a while.  GSP needs to defend his belt a few more times. I keep hoping for someone to give Silva a decent match.

I think that would be the best way to get him fights that would actually challenge him.  Machida, Evans, Rampage all come to mind as fighters who could hang.

My wife flew from Vegas to Orange County for work last Tuesday. She sent me a text from the plane, "I'm sitting across from Tito!".  Jokingly I told her to get an autograph. Jokingly because I think autographs are semi worthless unless on some piece of equipment (like a pair of gloves). Anyway, she gets his autograph (said he was very polite and easygoing). It says, "Scott, Your next!, Tito Ortiz". I thought it was pretty clever.

Actually I don't mind Lesner. There are a lot of other guys out there that I would rather see as the heavy weight king. Ok, I'll admit it I'm a Mir fan and have been ever since he got into the UFC and I think will be able to get Lesner to make a mistake and will submit him again if they can stay healthy and get to fight again. But as Lesner gets more and more familiar with the finer points of the fight game he could be unstoppable for a while. I would respect Lesner more if he admitted to steroid use while he was an "entertainer" in the WWE or WWF (whatever it was!) and quit when he left them and got back into real competitive sports. I think most fight fans would accept that and there would be no more issue or questions about Lesner and steroids.

I don't give a make the beast with two backs if he took steroids. I see him like the UFC's version of Kimbo. Truth be told, the heavyweight division in the UFC has by far the least amount of talent. Once Lesnar gains some skillz on the ground (BJJ) he should be able to dominate for a while. They brought him up super fast since they had no big name like Randy that draw people in. I can assure you that if they would have signed Fedor, Lesnar would still be fighting through the ranks.

Don't forget that Lesnar's tattoo looks more like a giant dildo attached to a pair of brass knuckles than an actual penis.  Maybe it's a replica of what he uses on Sable.  The tattoo on his back is really cool though.  Still don't understand why he doesn't come out under black light so it would glow.

I can't wait for the Mir fight.  Hopefully a dominant win will help people get over the fact that he was in the WWE.  Although Mir looked awesome against Nog so I wouldn't bet against him winning.

As to Fedor,  no way Lesnar beats him now but it is too bad that Fedor is in the twilight of his career becuase Lesnar could challange him in a year or two.  I still don't think Fedor would knock him out but would submit him easily.

I finally agree with you. In a few years, if Lesnar does not get too injured and he focuses on his grappling, he will be sick. Right now, he's a big name in a no name division.
