And that was the best fight of the season? I can't believe I'm still watching this show. This has been the worse I've seen. It's a shame that one of these guys will have a contract.

^^I totally agree, how can you gas out when all you have to do while you're there is train.  What a crappy season.  Funny that the only guy who really impressed me is Kimbo. Once he gets better take down defense and better on the ground he could be good.  Might be to small to be a heavyweight though.

So what do you guys think, Lesnar cycling off of roids?

He called in sick for that match days ago. It might go in January now.

Basically Mitrone was beating up on Junk which was a surprise but gassed late in the first and didn't recover but Junk was gassed and beat up.  They slugged it out for two rounds but Mitrone was definitely the aggresor and landed more punches though some of them looked like he had fists of cotton candy.

Junk couldn't flatten Mitrone late in the first, despite Mitrone's hands being at his waist and his jaw hanging open down to his chest.  Junk planted about five or six haymakers on Mitrone's open mouth, one after the other, and Mitrone didn't fall.  So either Junk is another 240-lbs heavyweight that can't put any weight behind a punch (paging Cain Velasquez... Mr. Velasquez, please report to the heavy bag...), or Mitrone is just a tough SOB.  Neither fighter had any impressive technique, and neither one implemented any strategy.  It was two guys that didn't like each other swinging for the fences, and doing a poor job of it.

The worst part of this episode was Mitrone behaving like a complete douche to his training partner in sparring.  This behavior should never have been allowed to occur.  I was pleased to see Rashad take him to task for acting that way, but furious to see Mitrone blow off Rashad's rebuke.  Rashad was 100% correct that your sparring partner isn't a tackling dummy and needs to be respected, and isn't there for you to blow off steam or feed your ego.  Had Mitrone gotten that talking to from one of my instructors and blown it off, he'd be out of our gym.

I'm going to watch the rest of the season and root for Big Baby.  He seems like he's genuinely pushing himself and staying above the douchebaggery.  He seems like one of the only guys that is taking advantage of the opportunity to improve.

Anyone taking in 106 this weekend?  I could care less about Griffin / Ortiz II, but Hazlett's usually entertaining and the Johnson / Koschek matchup may produce some decent moments...

It has to be better than the show on Saturday.

That Rumble/Koschek fight could end up being pretty good.  I'll watch it just because its a chance to hang with the guys.

Looks like Lesnar is out of the hospital and doing a little better.  I hope is career isn't over.

Yeah, it seems that White in his desire to be THE mma provider has over extended himself. There just isn't enough interesting talent out there that people know about to put on as many shows as he's been pushing. You need several strong headliners to market a PPV well. It seems like he's dilluted the brand trying to program opposite of everyone elses shows. If I could tell White one thing it would be to relax. Concentrate on one GREAT show every 5-6 weeks instead of a mediocre show every 3-5. Keep building the brand by using the up-and-comers with the older gate keepers in the free spike shows. Don't lower the quality of your PPV events though, if you need to space them further apart to allow multiple headliners by all means please do. I'll feel better about paying for it and be a happier customer. As it is I've gotten to the point where I only watch every third one or so.

While I agree,

This show was to have Lesnar/Carwin and everyone would be clamoring to watch it.

There are too many shows but A LOT of fighters are hurt right now for some reason.

Oh and GSP wants to wrestle in the olympics.
