Alright,  I'm going to come out and say.

Chael by knockout early in the 3rd.  The Spider's time is over.

Now hopefully Anderson will come out and actually try to fight and get a big KO for himself but I don't see that happening.  Chael has a great game plan to talk so much shit it makes Anderson mad and baits him into pushing it. 

I'm probably full of shit myself but I want to see Silva lose.

I agree. It's not that he's a bad guy, but he just doesn't seem to have the drive. For example GSP seems to be incredible driven which is why I like to watch him fight. Silva isn't as fun to watch because he doesn't seem to have that drive anymore. Maybe it's because he isnt challenged, or maybe he just doesn't care anymore, i don't know. I just know that I don't really enjoy watching him fight anymore, and isn't that what it's all about?

Silva is pissed off at Dana, and is doing what he did in the Maia fight to prove a point.

I love how people claim GSP to be the better athlete, the guy has been accused of greasing by just about every opponent he's fought. Not to take away from the fact that he's amazing at what he does, which is lay on top of his opponent and pray for a decision. I can't wait to see GSP vs Shields now that the UFC signed him.

WHoa whoa whoa, i never claimed that GSP was a better athlete. I just said from a spectator's stand point he seems more driven, he was just an example. there are other fighters that also have that drive. (also, regardless of greasing it looks like he has a pretty good amount of tko's and submissions http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georges_St-Pierre#Mixed_Martial_Arts_record )

Proving a point or not, he gets paid to put on a show, if he just shows up and is all pouty about how decisions are made, then dont so up, go fight for another company. If i wanted to watch (and pay for) all that drama I would go buy tickets for that WWE smackdown crap. I usually don't really care about all this, but come on Silva, your job isn't to show up and whine about how you aren't treated fairly or whatever he's complaining about, your job is to fight. Some people get paid to work at best buy, some people get paid to put out fires, you get paid to fight. If you dont like how the company is run, quit.

As disappointing as Silva's last performance was, Sonnen's ongoing stream of disrespect is too much of a disgrace for me to ever pull for him.  He's the kind of fighter that can give Silva trouble, but better versions of him (ex: Henderson) have tried to beat Silva with the same style and skillset and failed.  I don't see this ending well for Sonnen.

But I'm really just tuning in to see teh spectacle that is Big Country!

Sonnen is just downright silly. I love seeing him spout off blatant lies (Ex> I've never lost a round); and it's just hilarious seeing him descend into anger by Silva's disinterest.

congrats to Silva for maintaining the title, but that was a very disappointing outcome
