Saw the highlights. Remember that Shogun was coming back from surgery.

Didn't read about that. I think even without surgery, it would still have been same result.

I think it would not have been so one sided.

Agreed. I don't think his face wouldve looked as much like Shamrock's after a Tito fight.

I can't freaking wait for this Sooooo pumped. Don't discount Shields though, he has a nasty habit of boring the judges into a favourable decision.

Machida should come pissed to this onw. Can't wait to see how he shows up.

I'm surprised you have Diaz over Mcdonald. I'm fairly certain Mac will be the champin the next 3 years. Dude was laying a righteous beating down on my boy Condit until he got a little too cocky. He won't be making that mistake again anytime soon.

I could have gone either way with this one.  In the end, I went with Diaz's experience... he's fought guys like McD before.

And I don't disagree with you that McD has belt potential.

I don't think he's fought anyone quite like Mcd before.

Seriously, how can you root against this guy

http://www.mma-core.com/videos/_Carlos_Condit_vs_Rory_MacDonald_UFC_115_Part_2?vid=10011336&tid=100

Completely outclassed Condit until he got tagged with that left. Diaz has nowhere near the speed, power, talent, or experience that Condit has.

The Bendo-Bocek fight also has the potential to be FOTN. Those WEC guys truly added an insane amount of depth to the LW division. And then I realize that's my division.  Undecided

What a stacked make the beast with two backsing card. Cant wait!!!

Well, it kinda was. Right up until he just make the beast with two backsing completely gassed. Still, that is one midget I do NOT wanna make the beast with two backs with.

This McDonald kid is awesome!!   applause applause applause

Told ya Cheesy

GSP-Shields went exactly as I thought. Boring as all hell. I was kinda surprised to see Shields do so well in the stand up though.

Machida: Crane Kick FTW! that thing was awesome. I almost expected Mr. Miyagi to come into the octagon afterwards. You gotta love the blackhouse guys, never a dull moment.

Holy Spinning Backfist Makdessi. That thing was so beautiful it almost bought a tear to my eye.

And a FREAKING FLYING TRIANGLE?!?!?!?!

This card had so many finishes I thought I was watching a Strikeforce event  laughingdp laughingdp laughingdp

This card was so awesome. Barring the Main event it was the most exciting card EVER.

Was that Randy's tooth flying out after the crane kick to the face?!  Forgot to mention that last last night after watching the replay.

That sure was  applause

The main fight was kind of anticlimactic after seeing all those wicked finishes.  It was also nice to see Machida back on track since i'm a fellow Shotokan karateka my self.  I get tired of telling the mma knuckleheads that Shotokan can work, it all depends on your training emphasis.

It's not MMA related but Pacman is fighting this saturday  chug

My shotokan background has only gotten in the way of learning more useful uay hai skills   laughingdp I can kick better than most though...

Is any Post-Serra  GSP fight NOT anticlimactic?

I can't believe no one has mentioned the triple german suplex! That was awesome.
