Those are some sweet rides!  A friend of mine has that one in the first pic, a 350 Four.  It's not quite in that good of shape, but still great.  My wife and I both learned to ride on it.

Check out the following...

Another group of folks making some killer rides (I'm diggin the W650 custom, but not at their price, I'd do my own)

It was hit by a student parking in front of my restaurant.  I got paid for insureance and sold the bike for $700. the damage was not that bad, I wish I never sold her.  Now I park on the sidewalk and welcome any motorcyclist join me... as have a few DMF'ers

This appeals to me, though it's really not quite what most of y'all are lusting after.

You've captured my interest. Deal fell through on a Duc I was looking at.  :'( Really anxious to get a bike and  I found a few Hondas and such in good condition. Don't mean to threadjack, but what do you think?

There's a line between a Cafe bike and a Streetfighter, it comes somewhere between spoked wheels and a kick starter, without either one, it's questionable. I believe a Cafe bike should retian the pre 80's style and looks, with some modern upgrades, an occasional cast wheel, if it came stock, and  other bits. when you start grafting on GSXR,or other parts, it blows it. In the late 70's when I started building Cafe bikes You had to build most your parts, clip-ons, rear sets, seats, frame mods, were all the builders ideas, We couldn't afford to buy that stuff, or it just wasn't there. In '78 I built a CB750, still have all the reciepts, when Suzuki introducad the Katana, We all said that was the end of Cafe builders, it's great to see a new interest, just wanna stick close to it's roots I guess, and to Each their own. I will keep building Original homemade Cafe style bikes..  chug

I'm starting to really fall hard for air-cooled Hondas from the 70's, especially ones that have been given the cafe racer treatment.  I like them stock too.  I want a project.  These bikes give me some inspiration.  I just wanted to share these.

CB350 Four

Love it  Cheesy

I have always been fond of the original CB400 Four (gotta be in blue)... love that 4-into-1...

...and for reasons which I cant quite explain Yamaha's shaft drive XS750 triple always appealed too...

+1  I had a '76 750k.  Commuted on it 110 miles a day in Texas, oil change every month.  Did that for 6 years with no other maintenance aside from wear parts.
