Does anyone know the part numbers for the optional pannier mounting brackets that were offered for the early Monsters? I'm been casually looking around for some, but they are pretty rare and I have never seen the actual Ductai part numbers listed anywhere. Thanks.

Anyone have any pictures of a Monster with the factory panniers on the bike?

The Manchester, England online shop has the panniers listed together with their brackets:

Click the "more images" link for one pic of the bags on a bike.  There used to be more pictures available online from the main Ducati site, but they don't list these there anymore.  I'd love to have a pair for my Monster, but due to price bought a used pair of the Monster City soft bags instead.

In the last two years I've seen a dealer in Canada list some new ones on eBay, but they were still more than I cared to spend. I really only need the brackets because we have two sets of panniers from our ST2 bikes that we can use. I'd like to see some good pictures of a Monster with the panniers on it. The picture that Manchester has on thier site really doesn't show what the bike looks like with them on.

I've been thinking of buying a Monster as a commuter and was thinking the panniers would come in handy for commuting, and if we wanted to take the two Monsters out, the panniers would be a good source for storage.

Thanks. I appreciate the pictures. It looks a little better than I was thinking it might.
