Does it qualify as a ghetto-sled if it's only got two wheels?

How is it you live in Oakland and don't know?

I generally avoid making eye-contact with the locals.  They usually interpret that as "take my purse".

Someone made the effort to get it painted, get a little chrome--OK, a LOT of chrome, got some serious welding done, smacked on some slap (yeah, I actually know what the speakers on a bike are called--thank you BARF) and all sorts of fancy shizznit.  Hell, I can barely be bothered to clean my chain, let alone do something that might be considered even remotely creative with my bike (wait, does creative crashing count?)

This one time, in the marina...

I saw this kind of thing pull over and park in a red zone. 4 really really fat dudes with gold chains dismounted and stretched on the sidewalk while their stereo made all the skinny blond girls' ears bleed. Stretched, you know, like yoga, there on the sidewalk next to their gold fleck painted thing with massive wheels and thumping rhythm. As if Jane Fonda herself was there directing. Then they just walked away and left it there, stereo blasting, like an art installation.

I would've gone up and changed the music to classical or something.
