Uh-oh ... what's going on here?

« Reply #61 on: November 09, 2009, 07:23:33 PM »

OK peoples I finally got a reply, briefly:

. calendar is up for the next 6 months http://www.superbikeschool.com.au/category_product.php
. they do not offer any discounts ... I am tempted to reply with 'you can have 18 bookings or you can have none' (but reckon they will probably say they are always over-subscribed Huh?)
. 'L' platers are OK at Eastern Creek but they will have to meet all their usual 'L' plate restrictions eg. size of bike, etc
. Level 1 participants can book online, others will need to call
. other terms and conditions, etc can be found on their website http://www.superbikeschool.com.au/index.php

So what do you lot think?

Please enlighten me Huh?,
do they run different levels on the same day
so we all can go together irrespective of level ?
And can L plate riders come along on the same day?
If this is on that would be cool cause my son could come too.
If so you can take the ? from beside my name on the list
all this sitting on the fence is giving me a sore  U*U

Dez I can only go on what I have found out, in red below:

Please enlighten me Huh?,
do they run different levels on the same day ... I assume so only as they seem silent on the issue. I mentioned wanting to do it all at once in the email and they didn't say it was a problem. Not being allowed to book on line may have more to do with them checking your credentials and teeing up the right materials or instructors.
so we all can go together irrespective of level ? ... Perhaps somebody that has already done a course can help.
And can L plate riders come along on the same day? ... I specifically asked this for you. In different places on the website they state 'no L platers' then elsewhere 'no L platers at Phillip Island'. So they replied that at Eastern Creek it is OK so long as you abide by your 'L' restrictions. Again, they were silent on how they group riders for the day.
If this is on that would be cool cause my son could come too.

All Levels are run on the same day, they just try to stagger the track time, so level 1 people
don't end up being on the track when Level 4 people are running around.

So yes we can do it all together but we'll end up in different smaller groups and split over
different levels.

i.e. Level 1 might have 35 people doing the course on the day and they'll assign 5 or so instructors and split the riders
across the instructors so you'll end up with about 5-7 people per group, roughly but then for the theory classes you all come
back together upstairs and still and listen to the why/how of what you are learning.

cheers
Matty...

You're a pro-active bunch aren't you ... geez I mention we will not be around for the Feb dates and all goes quiet.

So have you:
. booked in feb and didn't want to say anything?
. didn't want to show any initiative?
. lost interest?
. only been riding bikes because you do up your boots with zips and velcro (in other words you'd be lost without someone to tie your shoelaces for you)?

Dates from Superbike School website:
Friday, 12th of February, 2010
Saturday, 13th of February, 2010
Thursday, 22nd of April, 2010
Friday, 23rd of April, 2010
Monday, 07th of June, 2010
Tuesday, 08th of June, 2010

Personally I'd suggest the April dates noting that Monday April 26 is ikely to be a public holiday and that we will be in Tassie in Feb.

So are we gonna make this happen?

Its a YES from me !
I do like the sound of April with a chance of cooler weather though,
but put it up for communal vote as a big group of Monsters together again would be
 Grin aural pleasure Evil.
So I will probably shout my son's fee as they allow L riders so that will be 2 so far.
