Can anyone recommend a digital gear indicator for a S2R1000?

Only if you have the transmission to match...

I guess I won't be getting a digital gear indicator. Was told by my dealer the S2R1000 doesn't have the transmission for it.

Do you always believe the dealer?

You can get one. It'll work. Kinda a 2 man job to set some up though. They typically pick up info from the tachometer lead. It's a process of going through each gear to the shift point, while it's on a stand. Sketchy. Why not just count gears in your head as your shifting. Then... when you try to shift into 7th (like I always do ) you know your in 6th.
