Here's what I got...link to the full album at the bottom.  Please add your own pics and commentary! Smiley

I have to say this was one of the most fun rides I've had in a while - Great people, roads, company, weather, no performance awards, no mishaps, and only one mechanical issue that turned out to be easily resolved and only added to the adventure.  Pics and story:

Meet-up spot.  Michael casualy rolls in at 5 'til 7, like it's no big deal.  Cool part was that made 10 riders in all....great turn out!

We rolled through Wickenburg and the first stop was at the bottom of Yarnell Hill.  That's where we discovered Rule62's tire had a nice shiny section made out of these strange metal cords.

After some hemming and hawing we decided to try and find a tire in Prescott, and so headed on up Yarnell Hill and through People's Valley.

Would you believe almost no traffic in the White Spars on up to Prescott?  Excellent.

9 Ducatis and one Honda (Hey! At least there's a wing in the emblem!) parked on Whiskey row while Ryan searches for a tire.

Ryan got hooked up at a spot that was on our way, a Moto Guzzi dealer Encore Performance just outside of Prescott.  The rest of the group joined up after some coffee.  This is also where Brickdog peeled off to head back to civilization.

Back on the road, headed to Jerome through Mingus mountain. Gorgeous.

A quick stop in Jerome.  People Waited just to hear the bikes start up. Then continued down the hill on our way to Sedona.

These guys have been following me all day!  Just can't seem the shake 'em!

Antics on a boring stretch of highway to Sedona.

It's a tradition. The Sedona Burger King.

Then a torturous roll out of Sedona back to I-17. Ridiculous road planning on someone's part, unless they reallt took the "trap" part serious in "tourist trap".  Hard to get out of town.  But we did and then had a quick blast home.  A few of us made a pit stop to stretch, otheres continued on.

And a smooth roll home back in the valley in the late afternoon sun.  Good times...Thanks for organizing it Michael!

Looks like you all had fun.  I finally took mine for a ride up to Canyon Lake with the new top triple/clipons/masters and enjoyed the changes.  Now I am waiting for my new suspension... I splurged on this one... should make riding much more enjoyable and twisty roads much more fun (stock stuff has finally had it).

Looks like you guys had a blast! We'll hopefully be rejoining the ranks as soon as the Tour de Tucson is over and we can back down on the training a bit.

Those are some great pics Dietrich!

PS. Let me know if you guys want to plan a Mt. Lemmon Ride in the near future. There's that great stretch that runs down from Globe to Tucson that's really nice and runs right down into town. Since I'm working down in Tucson so much, I could coordinate stuff on this end.  waytogo

Looks like a splendid day, and sorry I missed it (again). Glad Encore Perf could hook you up -- they're good people. Next time you head north through Preskitt, I'll see if I can talk the proprietor of Encore into opening up his former location for a quick tour. It's now operated as a rafting supply shop and (more on point), a restoration shop and storage for row upon row of old Guzzis, Bennellis, BSAs and the like that are all somewhere along the continuum from stunning restoration to graceful decay in the weeds...
