Found a good deal, always liked it back in the day. Anyone had one...what do you think? The bike has just over 20,000 miles, and TOR exhaust. it is also orange if that matters!

My wingman has the 05 and loves it. Has had some minor issues and now is getting his plastic tank covered under good faith hopefully. But with 20K on the clock, most of the bugs should be worked out. Tho his tank only started cracking around the 20k mark so check it. It is in the front/center near the latch. Check the front brakes too, his had to be warranteed/recalled for sponginess and rebuilt the calipers. He has had intermittent probs with the gauges but it was a loose connector.

Orange huh?  Lips Sealed

the biggest problem is when I got any of my 3 Monster they felt like "me" this does not. I love it but only because it looks so silly! I have wanted a speed 3 for this reason...i love the headlights! It is also a lot bigger than a monster (frame size) while sitting on it.  I cannot imagine what the power has to feel like!

KBB is less reliable compared to online auctions (imo). I'd check ebay and see what completed auctions run for a more accurate assessment of "worth".

If the seller is insulting you, you could always say that $1000 difference wouldn't pay for all the oil drip pans you'd need over the life of the bike. But if you're not passionate about THIS bike, the price is irrelevant. It'd be a bad buy. It'll make someone else happy at that price.
