Age: Mature going on 16  Grin
CTP: live in VIC : TAC $364 not negotiable
Full comp ins QBE: $339 Market value, long standing no claim, live in rural area where the only things that get stolen are chook chasers, chainsaws and banjos!

I know insurance companies have different rates dependant on age but I'm wondering if they also have different rates based on gender especially when it comes to motorbikes?

yeah the charge extra because im a male, also im and 25... but never had an accident (touch wood)

about 1km west of my place is a river, on the other side of that river is classed as "rural" and they have heaps cheaper insurance...

Obviously 25 + male = hoon  [moto] little old ladies on ducatis just don't rate a mention  Roll Eyes

Well there you go, there are some benefits to getting older and being female.  Insurance companies don't consider me so much of a risk on a motorbike. They haven't see the sad state of my licence  Grin
