Nice one Pompetta
The see-through belt cover looks good, where did you get it?
Did you mod you swing arm too, it has additional cross members on it and me likey.
Similar to this. Picture link borrow from vw151.

Thanks!
The belt covers are Rizoma. I bought them from a board member who had them powder-coated gloss black. I love 'em.
The swingarm is the OEM item for the S*R Monsters: it has no additional crossmembers. I did have it powder-coated though. The pic to which you linked is Ducati's MHE 900. Man, I'd love to have one of those!
I've been trying to clean up the look of the bike a bit, inspired by board members expecially kopfjager's bike.

I've loved my '04 S4R since the day I laid eyes on it. I considered selling it this year but then I figured that was a really dumb idea. Can't go wrong with a 996! Good luck!

If I'm reading this information correctly, up to 2006 the S4R used the 996 Desmoquattro engine? Did it use ST4 cylinder heads?

It had the low exhaust cam heads, AFAIK they were the same as the ST4s.
S4 was the same style low heads, same as ST4.
