And that guy in the Disney video is totally screwed now. He's set the bar WAAAAAY too high for himself. (Not to mention for the rest of us. Selfish make the beast with two backser.) What could he POSSIBLY do to top that down the line?

On top of that, all of his fiance's friends will now have a reason to nag their boyfriends/husbands. "Why couldn't you do something romantic like that for me, huh? You proposed at Applebee's. APPLEBEE'S!"

His friends will get sick of being held up to his shining example and just stop hanging out with him. His wife will nag him because nothing will ever make her heart ache like that again.

It's a short hop, skip and a jump from there to divorce, alcoholism, and suicide.

Congrats!  I got married in July and we took the Goldwing to the Smoky Mountains for our honeymoon.  Last year we took the Goldwing to Colorado and I asked her to marry me standing high in the Colorado Rocky Mountains at Independence Pass.  She LOVES the pillion on the GW.

Later she claimed that oxygen deprivation caused her to say yes when she obviously should have said no.
