Just kicking the tires and checking the fires.  I'd like to know who actually owns this board.  Is that written down somewhere?

Have a look here:

One of the things _I_ don't like is the idea that _anybody_ "owns" this board. The _members_ are what makes the community, not some pre-internet-forum era idea of "ownership". But for the record, ducpainter is currently the name on the hosting account bill, and either him or duckstew paid for the domain name (a bunch of us all bought a handful of relevant domain names when we started discussing setting this up a while back, so I might be wrong there).

Well people, I was not part of the old site too long (long enough to pay my Ti membership) until I found that absolute DRIBBLE they dished out today  Angry. I have to say I am impressed at how fast the DMF is building. Great work guys, lets keep it simple and keep it how its intended, a bunch of monster fans sharing their passion for their bikes! wt:
P.S. Another Aussie here Smiley

out of curiousity, how much does it cost to run something like this?  i assume someone somewhere has to pay for the space, format licence, etc.

Crazy? Possibly, but do YOU want a boring life?

Agreed, it has the same humble beginings of the DML, same people, all here for the same reasons, because we love our monsters, and ads suck!
I've still been having issues with the DML, so I am completely deleting it from my registry, so that I don't make the mistake of arriving there, when I want to be here to banter and kvetch!
Great thought guys!!!!!
Great job, and more will be heading here, I know our local club already has the site listed......that's how I found you!
No more hide and seek!

Ready or not! Here I come!

Exactly why we built the DMF.

Please, with your pseudo-communist/collectivist notions.  Oy, gevalt.  Okay, Nate owns the board.  Thank you.

Just curious man. You're posts are a kind of filled with attitude. Didn't really see a reason behind it.

Glad to see this is here.  I was pretty depressed to see the old DML go up in flames.

Thanks for creating this new site.  The DML was getting out of hand.  I have a new name for a new site.  Cheers.   :wine
