The non-Moto kind.  I am looking for a grown up winter coat.  I went to Macy's last week and tried on about 12 coats.  I like the wool pea coat style and the Burberry trench style.  It would have to fit over winter sweaters and look good both jeans and business attire.

So, why do you like your winter coat?  Any recommendations?

Laura came home with 2 big boxes from Nordstrom.  Coats!  1 red cloth, lighter weight then I was looking at, but a good fit and a beautiful coat.  #2 was a camel pea coat.  Not a good color on me.

I like this one:

SHE. Is a good woman!  That is a great surprise!  I would definitely say the red.  Agree on the camel color.  I like it but I'm not picturing it on you.  SO cool!!   waytogo

I would prefer a pea coat in either navy or black......I cannot do red. I went to old navy 2 weeks ago to get one and they were out!
I have a jacket that I recently bought made by a company called free country.
Its a casual-ish jacket lightweight and water/wind proof, and is very warm.

i'm so jealous! i move to Houston over a year ago and now I don't get to wear winter coats  Angry (riding year-round is of course, a small perk to that)

that red coat is very cute. I have a similar looking one in pink with a fur collar from guess that i've gotten rave reviews on for years and now my mom does to (she inherited from me now that i live in the warm). Guess is probably my favorite main-stream brand for coats. I'm currently lusting after this one:

ps. camel is actually one of my favorite colors. ::sniff:: so much hating on poor camel.
