new tank, new forks, and clip-ons

Ducpond replace my tank, installed my SBK forks, moved the oil line, installed cycle cat clips and rizoma grips (finally no reflectors). Here are some pics:
I dropped the gauges below the triple with one of Taftonomos lowered bracket this afternoon, but as I was buttoning it up, I cross-threaded one of the holes in the lower triple! Argggggh. So no pics of the lowered and blacked out headlight just yet.

Simple fix. Just drill it out and re-tap with a M6 bolt
Looks good !

Nice forks. Passenger pegs need to go. Too much black, needs some contrast.

I dig the belt covers, nice touch. No blinkers? I agree the pillion pegs need to go but I'm guessing you carry a passenger. Cool bike

There are black Rizoma signals up there but they got lost in the picture (they are black so I guess they disappeared into the blackness).
I do carry a passenger on occasion, but they are easy to pull and install, so that's no excuse.

Agree with you on the pass pegs. I wondered about too much blackness, but I like it. The cycle cat clip ons were gold before I had them powdered black. When I put all the uninstalled parts on the floor together, I just couldn't leave them gold.

Passenger pegs need to go.
If you actually use these things just have them powdercoated to match the frame so they dont stand out so much..

When I get some more coin, I might do the opposite of you - red annodized triple with the black forks. Would match the red annodized top of the forks.
I've also thought about picking another retro/rat color and have Ducpainter paint the tank and cowl.

Real Quick, Your X-threaded bolt on the triple. No need to drill out to M6 (at least not initially) , Take an M5 tap and run it in from the top, and you should be fine.

Nice
Gold gas caps gotta go now.
What's the best way to accomplish this? I've seen some Yammie OEM caps which I think are the same, is it easy to transfer the lock?
Very nice ride angler! I concur with the suggestion to black out the passenger pegs... or untape the forks to complement them and the pipes.
The gold gas cap does come back in the fork sliders though... but since you're getting rid of the gold...
