I'm thinking about getting the carbon fiber seat cowl but I'm also thinking about a touring seat.  Will the cowl fit the touring seat?  It looks like it has the fastener cutouts in the seat.  I just want to make sure before I spend the money and get the carbon fiber cowl then later discover it won't work on the touring seat.

To the mods; sorry, this is the second time you have had to move one of my posts.  Hopefully, I'll learn to put them in the right place soon.

Now, can someone answer the question?

not sure on the m1100, but i don't see why it wouldn't... as long as both parts are ducati manufactured.
to be sure, i would just give your dealer a quick call, he will be able to tell you yay or nay.

What they said.  Works great for me, I take it off once or twice a week to throw a passenger on for a ride.

OK, thanks.  I already have the carbon fiber seat cowl on order.
