Well the full story of today's adventures will be posted in a reply to this, as King and his camera come back to ABQ this week.  But let me wet your whistle with today's hooligan activities to the Taos ski area....

The story involves a new Ducati 1098S, white smoke from under a fairing, a snowmobile, a lawn tractor, the police radar gun, George and some Bro-mance with Cowboy Fred.  Stay tuned for pics that illustrate the event.  It was a memorable day for all!!

Trust us, for those of you who were not there, the epic drama will unfold before your very eyes when we get back into town in a couple of days.  (Wait till you see the pics!)

You know, we tried and tried to tell you all the story but kept getting database  errors (some things never change) So here we go with our seven desperados (aka Zaster, Pam, DucDucGooseMe, Vivaleduc, Kingbaby, Dusty and Kawboy) in a land far far away (also known as Taos ski valley).  Unbeknownst to them, evil lurked around every corner.  But truth be known, this was one of the funnest rides yet.

Zaster and Pam soaking up the Taos rays

Gangstas walking the deserted streets of the valley

The force drew us away from reality

Vivaleduc tries to stop DDGM

DDGM trying to convince us he had found his new love... how quickly we forget, but our new 1098S doesn't

One used lawn mower and a shop vac...$10

One ride on a police bike...one case of beer

Having a friend with a trailer for a sick 1098S...undetermined  Evil

Kawboy coming to the rescue and getting the reach around treatment from Vivaleduc...priceless

Back on the open road

Dusty with her mystery man

DDGM back on old reliable...should have sprung for the black S   bang head Sorry, had to add that in somewhere...

AS the curtain falls..Vivaleduc giving the Columbian two-finger salute...Thank heaven for running into Kawboy on the road up to the ski valley...

Good times! chug

Next time you guys head to Taos, give me a shout.  The ride from here to there takes a while, but it's a great ride!

When will George know what's wrong with the new baby?

Wow, after all those fantastic pictures, I am still confused about who has what.  I thought DDGM got a new 1098S.  So it was the Crazy Mexican, hence the selling of the 1000 Classic?  Hep me to understand!
That trip looked like a riot!  Somehow the bizarre stuff always seems to happen to me so it is a good thing I didn't go if I was going to have to top that!   laughingdp

I'm heading out of Ruidoso in a bit.  Glad I brought my rainsuit.  Socked in right now but maybe it'll clear.  Lance is going to get wet, that makes for a soggy bottom for a few weeks.

I know picture books are tough to read, so let me explain because this is how rumors get started.  DDGM aka Skinner let Vivaleduc, aka George/Crazy Mexican ride his new red 1098S to Taos ski valley this weekend.  Are ya still with me?.... Said 1098S found out she had been betrayed by her master who had fallen for a used snowmobile.  Moments after this picture was taken, she had a heart attack at 9000 feet.
