It's always worth a walk around. I spend maybe 2-3 hours and see everything.

i love checking out all the different bikes, especially some of the retro bikes they have...

although i miss the Monster Challenge...
I missed the show last year, but I've been the past four years. Really fun times... and the people-watching is almost as good as the bike-sitting!
I'm going Sunday, I believe.

I've gone the past few years. It's worthwhile for anyone who rides.

But I'm also adding a bit of comparison to other cities of the show ... San Fran's show is not so great in comparison to Long Beach because of the convention site; Long Beach's is simply a better site and feels like a bigger show for example.

I'm taking my wagon because I dont want to shlep my gear around all day, and I dont have room on the bike for all the bling I'll be bringing back with me.
Though not this time, I have taken the Metro from NoHo station to LB several times...it takes a while and you have to make one change, but there is no parking hassle (cheaper than a parking spot too).

If anyone is interested, I'm happy to pick people on the way down from Castaic...just not sure which day I might be going yet.

Moto parking is free. I also rarely buy anything at the shows as it's overpriced.

That's cool. I hadn't noticed that. All the helmets and gear that I would buy is overpriced. They have some stuff on sale but it's usually not very desirable (hence the sale). I do buy earplugs there. Expensive but the custom ones are the best.

motorcycling is too unreliable, imho, to ever buy things in advance other than basic gear.  a lot of my friends buy the discount track packs but many end up having to sell off a few days for whatever reason... i dunno. unless i had 2 bikes i don't think it'd be practical for me.
