A little while ago, someone posted up a link in some thread to a company in italy that makes some SICK triple clamps for our monsters....
It was like three letters, like I.N.L. or something.... i can't seem to find it :/

I'm interested in triple clamps of a sick nature.  I've seen the SpeedyMoto triples, I'd be interested in these too if you can find a pic.  It is time to get busy with the winter mods!

Here's the info:

The guys (Patrick and Emanuele Costa) are AWESOME to deal with.

You've got three triple choices:
   1. Supersport
   2. Monsters 94-01
   3. Monsters 02+ (Sorry 696/1100 owners, you don't count, but you already know that)

Three Color Choices:
   Silver, Black, Gold

Three Bore Diameter Choices:
   a. OEM (50/54)
   b. Showa SBK (53/53)
   c. Ohlins SBK (53/56)

There are options for bar riser accommodations.
   i. Standard Spacing
ii. Spacing for Conical Style Bars (like the Rizomas - slightly wider for those tapered/variable section bars)

Some notes:

Pieces look fantastic. If you are a Supersport Owner, you can get either the top, or bottom triples only, or a complete set (which I would suggest, its not all that expensive).

If you are a 02+ Monster owners, you could similarly mix and match. You may want a snazzy looking SpeedyMoto upper triple, but might think they are over charging for their lower triple (I do, though it does include the bearing).

If you are a 94-01 Monster, you must order both upper and lower triples. The offset on these changes from the OEM 25mm to a 30mm offset, found on the newer monsters. This was selected after a plethora of customer's requested it so the bike felt more stable in the turns. Note that many superbikes comes with a 36 or so offset with kits to reduce the offset to the magical 32 or 30mm. The new monsters and the supersports came equipped with 30mm offsets from the factory, so that's why you have the ability to mix and match in those cases.

The triples come complete with the steering stem already installed, and they have provided stainless bolts (M8x25 I believe, except for the odd center bolt on the upper triple which looks like a M8x20 - my calipers are not nearby). The triples do not come with steering head bearings installed. This is a piece of cake, so don't freak out. Order the speedymoto tapered for your bike (the 94-01 monster guys, and the supersport guys got these from the factory, but its time to replace!). They come with lower washer and upper cap as well, so its pretty much a complete deal, along with the SKF bearings (That's what the SpeedyMoto's are, at least, for the 94-01 Monsters - its a direct OEM replacement).

Fill 'em full with grease, drop on the lower washer, drive on the lower tapered bearing and the lower triple is ready to be installed.

Knock out the OEM races and whack in the new races (easier than it sounds) until the meet the shoulder on the inside of the steering head. Button it all back together, and retighten the adjuster nut on top after a few rides to make sure the upper bearing is sufficiently squished against the upper race.

For those of you with CycleCat upper triples on your 94-01 Monsters, sit down, you may not like hearing this: Your CycleCat triple (or hell, the OEM top triple) is incompatible with the IMA lower triple. It has the stock offset, and your new IMA triple has a 30mm offset. Unless you have magical zig-zag forks that somehow shift 5mm aft between upper and lower triple, you will not be able to use that CC bling any longer. That's why I have recently sold the upper triple and its spacer away to a new owner when installing the new IMA set.

Note on color: Black is awesome deep black anodizing. I was really leaning toward Gold, but I thought it might be a bit much. Somebody do this, it'll look bad ass.

Pre-installation.

Upper and lower installed (crappy quality, but gives the right idea):

I forgot to mention how fast the turn-around time was. I blinked and not only had the pieces been machined, but also DELIVERED... all the way from Italy to Dallas, Texas... big waytogo to Patrick and Emanuele.

That is awesome. These look fantastic, and it's great to hear that the customer service is good.
I will be ordering these some day soon.

Lemme know when you get ready to, I am happy to help out. They speak good English, which is always a plus.

Approximate Prices (of course, subject to changes based on materials and the 'whatnot'):

Complete Kit is 270 euro;
SBK Bores (either) is an additional 40 euro;
Lower triple only is 180 euro.
International Shipping is 70 euro (and it gets here damn quick)

I'm down for these...

BIG question though.  Do they have provisions for the stock headlight/U bracket?  I just finished a LOT of time on that trellis headlight frame I made...and I don't want to re-do it.  Lower looks like it's drilled for the u bracket already.

Yes, has mounts for gauges and headlight U-bracket. I'll post a picture tonight of the "finished" install (though I'm still waiting on unrelated bits and pieces like oil lines and rotor bolts).

Got the U-Ring, Damper Fork Clamp, Damper Frame Clamp, Oil cooler Mount, and Steering Stem Top Bolt all pc'ed black, so everything would nicely blend in. Here's some shots of it all put together:

(Ignore all the dangling wires and missing front fender and wheel... project isn't complete just yet)
