In person they're much less offensive.
Yes, as Mitt says, we need a ride report.
they also "disappear" when you put the lowers on the bike.

I have met Fischer and have seen his bikes.
He is a cool guy ,ex-racer and as far as I know paid for All costs so far by himself.
Oh and the bikes look pretty cool too.

rgramjet is right. It is a lot more Vibey than the Monster. The mirrors especially...That bothers me alot. I have an S2R 800 with the more upright seating position, so the Clubman bars on the 1125CR are taking some getting used to. Power is amazing. Tons of torque and the engine has a peculiar sound to it that reminds me a little of our dry clutch Ducs. Redline is at 10.5, I've never been near it yet. I was in 5th gear at 5500 RPM doing 85 on the highway. The bikes sits a little higher than my Monster, I can flat foot both feet on the Monster...only one foot on the Buell. It's been cold and wet since I got the bike so the few rides I have been on I have not been able to really lean the bike too aggressively. I still love my Monster...it's a refined work of art, smooth and easy. The Buell is a lot more raw, in your face. Yes, it vibrates more, It's not unbearable...to me. That front brake is amazing. As much as I like to just sit and look at the lines of the Duc, I am amazed at some of the innovations on the Buell.

This thread back from the dead...
Did anyone else catch the Fischer MRX review on Motorweek this week?
http://www.pbs.org/mpt/motorweek/twowheelin.shtml
(No video, but I am sparing everyone John Davis' SIIIng-sonnnng deLIIIvery!)
I dunno, this bike seems like a bargain at 8k - more horsepowers and fuel injection would be nice, but the oddball nature of this bike appeals to me.

That's very interesting. Too bad they are using a hyosung powerplant.

... we are left with
Roehr
and
Fischer
as our only(?) American sportbike choices. Fischer is intriguing since it appears to have a similar powerplant as the SV (Hyosung motor), but it does not have the mushy suspension. The bodywork is debatable, but if Buell is the benchmark for styling, I would give it an 8 graded on the curve (I think I am saying I am beer-goggling the Fischer)
Thoughts? Anyone have any FHE with either?
Hyosung really? I have had experience with hyosung knock off honda Trail bikes and their knock of honda cg 125s.
and they are really badly put together. sure its a brand new bike for about 1/2 to 1/3 of the the real thing. But you'll be lucky if it lasts a couple of years.
got any pics? cos i'm intrigued

Thought it was a copy of an SV engine. I could be wrong though.

I think a little of both. As I recall, they were making some engines for Suzuki. Some of their bikes share design, and look a lot like some Suzuki models. Well, until you get close. Il dood is right about the difference in quality.

I'm not sure I would call it an "American Sport Bike" if the motor is built by Hyosung.
