As some of you know, a few of the newer Ducati's (hypermotard, M1100, streetfighter, etc) have this big ugly actuator mechanism beneath the seat with cables actuating a "flapper valve" in the exhaust.  It's a bit Rube Goldberg in functionality and a waste of underseat room!  Also if you have an aftermarket exhaust, you have this gizmo along for the ride as removing it will toss CEL error messages.

Thus Bernard / Vizi-Tec and myself created a device we call Duc.EE -- essentially a small little solidstate gizmo that replaces the above whole mechanism and keeps the ECU happy.

It works great on the M1100 and Streetfighter with the Siemens ECU.

We need a Hypermotard (with stock ECU) for a few hours / days for Bernard to test in his lab (bike won't be ridden) in the San Jose area.  He can transport via truck/ramp as needed.

Perk of helping -- contact me off-line (e-mail: MarkSavory@motocreations.com) or Bernard (e-mail: bernard@vizi-tec.com)

Thanks!

Thanks John.

... He can transport via truck/ramp as needed.
Or if you rather ride the HM to my place i'll give you a ride(via cage) back to your place and pick you up when i complete the tests. Save us the hassle of loading/unloading my truck.

And not to worry about your bike. It will be in a safe and private spacious 2.5 car garage. The series of tests i'll be doing is nothing intrusive. I'll be monitoring a couple of signals with an oscilloscope during and after start up.

Again... there will be perks for helping chug

Thanks,
Bernard

Bike was returned without problem.

New Duc.EE (Magnetti Marelli version) was just tested today on Jules HyperMotard in the Yahoo parking lot -- success. I'll do some more followup testing up here on another HM at my shop. We will push to production then after those tests and deliveries within a few weeks.  First production item goes to Jules for all his help!

Thanks everyone!
