its never too late to be who you might have been

« on: November 21, 2009, 06:50:51 AM »

My daughter got home from college last night for the thanksgiving holiday.

This has been quite the year for me and to have her here for the holiday makes me happy!

What are you guys thankful for this year?

Yes, badgalbetty has a soft side.............

My my!  Softer side indeed!   laughingdp

Hmmmm.....it's been a tough year BUT i still have income (although barely but it's better than nothing), am moderately healthy, my friends are awesome, I haven't thrown up in a long time after too many glasses of red wine and thankfully the filter between my brain and my mouth is working more frequently.

Nice to hear that your daughter is home for Thanksgiving!  I wish I could be with my family but it's not going to happen until next year.   Cry    (See the dog thread if you want to know why....$$$).   Wink

Flights got too pricey too fast this year so we're spending t-day with the other family this year: local bike night crowd!
I'm grateful for having more families, for November riding weather and for all the pie I am going to eat this weekend!

Thankful that we are going to Zooom's Dad's house for Thanksgiving (although I did have fun doing "orphans" last year) but mostly I am thankful that I am relatively healthy, have a job that I love and that all my family and friends are safe.

Randimus knows his way around the kitchen and I gladly stay out of his way and will do the clean up.  Works for us!

Some of you know of badgalbetty's situation.

This year Thanksgiving was the best ever!

Thanks everyone for being so cool and hope that you all stay well in the cold weather that winter brings.

Be well,

badgalbetty!

PS if anyone has a leather jacket in a size 12 that they want to sell in the spring let me know what you have and how much you need for it,thanks!
