brutale expereience
«

i know i could put this on the mvagusta.net board but wondering if any of you here also own an older brutale and if there are any problems with them?
basically i'm noticing that the 04-07 brutales are finally coming down in price since they are getting older, i know i could go with an s4rs or something that is along ethe same lines but looking to compare the two options.
thanks.

I've been noticing the same thing. I'm seeing some low mileage Brutales for attractive (in my budget) prices. My local Ducati shop also carries MV so I see the Brutales frequently. From certain angles they are perfect. But this infatuation so far is just skin deep. I would have to test ride one. I know I like twins and I'm not sure I would want to go back to a 4 cylinder. I'm dangerous enough already and I'm afraid I'll be riding even faster trying to find the sweet spot of the 4 cylinder bike.

They are fantastic bikes to ride. Twitchy. Nervous. High-strung.
Not a slow-friendly bike.

Also add in harsh suspension.
Our friend's Brutale makes the Ducs look like low-maintenance bikes.

Every annoying rumour about Ducati's reliability is actually true for the MV's.
I have a 910R for sale if you want it.
