Neither of these two guys is an 85 year old distinguished looking gentleman with white hair. 

I'm changing my story.  I'm now thinking it was the hockey team owner that drank the Gordon Biersch beer after the toast b/c Gordon Biersch was the team's sponsor.  Either way the guy who made the toast deserves respect and Gordon Biersch is still a pretty good beer.
