How can one get a 125cc or 250cc sport bike into the US?
ive seen some CBR125/250 and also saw this on yamahas website

There is the Zongshen ZS200GS in the US. I saw one today at the Honda dealership. However, it is a pushrod motor and made in China, so probably not what your looking for...unless you are anticipating a continuing bad luck trend. Better it happen to that bike than a Duc.

Aprilia does bring the 125RS into the US, obviously as a track bike. People have managed to register them in NYC though. I'm not sure how they do it.

Apparently, some have managed to register them in California as well. I snapped this little buzz bomb at The Rock Store a couple of weeks ago. Sweet little ride.

Ive heard of this dealership making them street legal. Not sure how though. Looks like fun.

the yzf is a 4 stroke. the aprillia is a 2 stroke. too much work to maintain a 2 stroke for daily riding.

The Zongshen ZS200/250GS is a four stroke. Don't know anything about them, but they are street legal and cheap.

One of the old Suzuki GSXR250s (I-4) would be a killer on tight roads like Deal's Gap and such. Honda also used to have a CBR400RR that would be a hoot also ~
