Sorry to hear the news.  :(

Aww man.  I was excited to see you'd made it over here when you PM'd me.  Since they wiped out peoples profiles and were censoring links here, I wasn't sure how to get in touch.

Now my excitement is mixed with some sadness for you.  It's always tough to loose a buddy, they become such a part of your life.  it was tough, but you did the right thing.

Glad to see you found your way over here...really sorry to hear about Ben.

I can tell you that you will never stop missing him, but at some point you will be able to laugh at memories without crying at the same time.

RIP Ben

Sorry to hear about your canine buddy.  The time is near for my big feller, he's creeping towards 16years and acting real funny these days.
I remember when I was a kid, i was with my best friend when the vet came by and put down his sick, aging dog.  That was a pretty sad moment for us both, and I thought about how it would be when my dog's time came. (he was barely 2 years old at the time)
When the time comes to say goodbye, I guess all we can do is find comfort in the fact that they lived full and happy lives!  They sleep whenever they want, free room and board, no work!

Pics are on the other comp but you can wiki...  Its a Jindo(a breed from some island off the coast of Korea).

I've also got a daschund whos turning 17 this year.  I guess feeding dogs human food is good for them after all!

Big time condolences on your buddy pooch.  He's in a better place: tennis balls and rawhide chews everywhere; a cat in every tree to bark at.

And, welcome home to the true forum.

Just read up on the Jindo on Wiki, sounds like a great dog to have.   [thumbsup]

Thanks!  very loyal dogs, but they require a lot of discipline early on... something a lot of people fail to deliver and they end up being uncontrollable.
