Anyone know if it's possible to use the stock S*R rearset on a DSS monster (specifically a 695)?

I think the SSS swingarms have a wide machined pivot surface for the rearsets to attach to, the DSS has just a very thin unmilled band.  The other issue I see is that you'd need the pivot shaft/bolts for the SSS to Attach it.  If the width from outside to outside on the pivot mounts of the swingarm is different it's just going to get more complicated, especially if the DSS is wider.

sno duc did it on his wife's bike.

I thought I had ordered Sato's for a 620, when they arrived lo and behold S2R/S4R. After looking I figured out a way. Pulled swingarm pivot shaft, machined some plugs that press in ( 0.001 tight ), machined an end cap. Works well.

Good eye for catching it.  waytogo

S2R rearsets will work on a DSS bike but you have to use the S2R swingarm pivot shaft.  I did it on a 620 BTW...

there seems to be a decided lack of rearsets for 620's.. this gives me hope.
