How to Replace Rear Spring on a Ducati M900 MotorcycleTools needed:- Socket wrench
- Set of hex/allen attachments (for socket wrench)
- Extensions (for socket wrench)
- Set of wrenches (metric)
- Screw driver
- Large channel lock pliers
- A way to lift and support the motorcycle
Sizes mentioned:
- 4mm hex bolt
- 6mm hex bolt
- 8mm hex bolt
- 10mm nut
- 13mm nut
- 17mm nut
Tips
- Have an empty gas tank (and don't ever leave it up unsupported)
- Clean and lubricate the bolts with axle grease before putting them back in
- Have a friend help you
- Don't cut corners with safety
Original Spring: 8.2 kg
New Spring: 11.6 kg (However, you probably won't need a spring
that heavy)
