Hey guys -

I just picked up an '04 S4R and it has the map for a Full Arrow System w/ K&N filter - problem is it also has an open airbox, which is causing some lean running issues.  Does anyone have a map for a full system, K&N, and open airbox?

Thanks!  [moto]

I'm assuming you've got a PCIII?

If so, what kind?

You *might* find someone that's got a custom map for that combination.

As an alternative, you can try tweaking that map till it runs the way you like.
Whatever rpm and throttle range you think it's lean, try adding 5% to the map, then see how it runs.

5% to the #'s in the table?  Thanks!

Just as a note, the 5% isn't a magic bullet.
It should be a big enough step to notice.

If 5% cures it, try going down 2% from there, so then you'd be up 3%.

That's the beauty of it, you can fiddle with it yourself.  Smiley

I've got an 04 S4R with an open air box and a K&N, Marving Mid pipe, and cored stock mufflers.  I haven't had my bike put on a dyno but did have it set up with a gas analyser.  I'll try and send you the map if you want.
