From now on, every time I look at my property tax bill (valuations actually increased from 2008), feed those extra quarters into motorcycle parking meters ($0.70/hr!), pay a BS parking ticket (anticipates Spidey rant), rip a DPW notice to pay for unneeded sidewalk repairs off my building ($35 per square permit fee), or stand in line for hours at the Department of Building Inspection to pay exorbitant fees to replace my exterior windows, I'll think of the red lights at City Hall...and how PG&E is making off with all my hard-earned money.

Every time the city puts up a new light, a taxpayer dies.

Sorry...just cynical today.

I think im going to write a letter to City hall and tell them how great of an idea it is to light up in RED. It has raised my awareness of World AIDS day (and how much living in the city sucks), and they should do it every day to help spread the word.

Only if I can have them send the bill to an amateur electrician I know of in San Jose Grin

Every time the city puts up a new light, a bureaucrat gets his horns.

Fixed it.
