msincredible sent me here to check in.  Newbie waiting on a new Red 696 to arrive.  Live Martinez, work Marin.  Hoping the guys at Hattar can bend time/space so I can get my bike sooner.

Virtually no motorcycle experience.  Just wrapped up my MSC in vallejo, added my M endorsement, and will shed the cage shortly.

Looking forward to connecting with the MOB as much as I can.  I will miss the get together at Pizza Antique in Lafayette.  Enjoy!

BTW in college, the MOB was a party model that started generally with 4 - 5 guys at 2:00AM and a titanium bike lock.  The MOB would travel from house to house recruiting new members.  Initiates would receive the lock as a necklace until the new member recruited another another member.  We would secure the lock around the neck of an unsuspecting recruit while they slept.  Once encased with the bike lock, it is very difficult however to stay asleep.  So, the new member is thus encouraged by lack of the key to help the MOB find the next victim new member.  As only on securing another addition to the MOB is the bike lock removed.  It was weird, but somehow, each house visited complained that all their food was eaten, booze gone, and animals generally skittish the next day.  Huh, can't remember don't know what happened there...

Thanks for being here!

Are you saying you want to be initiated with a ULock around the wheel of your new 696?

I've checked out some of their posts. Most are in Seattle or Portland. Way farther than Sac. I will check again and ask around. Maybe I am just a califonria dude through and through.
