So, anyone think that chain is really going to stop someone from cutting it and taking the bike if they want it....Fork doesn't even look locked, cut chain and walk away with it  Shocked

I happen to have one of those NY Kryptonite locks and I think it's an excellent boat anchor.  Roll Eyes

Steering lock won't do anything for you either. If someone wants to steal your bike, they will. The chains & stuff really only stop random idiots riding off with it, not professional thieves.

Thats if they are willing to.
THeres not a big market for Ducati Monster parts... so i doubt they would even rob that bike.

I mean whats wroth money on the bike anyway?  no one in their right mind would buy half the parts on a monster unless it was the S2R1k or S4R/s/t.

Now people vandalizing it is another story... throw a cover on it!!!!

I walk bike this bike all the time. Never has a cover, unless you count the ice and snow that happens to be caked on it from time to time.

Currently a black 696 with red strips on the rims and around the intakes, carbon fiber Termis, chopped tail, & lots of CF bits.  [moto]

Hopefully soonish a black & gold flavored 1100S  Evil
