Generally do you cut/melt the little plastic nubs off or drill the new clip-ons? I don't wanna melt them away if they're critical for preventing the controls from slipping and rotating around the bar.  Also the throttle is metal, so I'm thinking drilling a small cutout is probably the best option.

a dremel will grind them away in a flash,if the rotate on the bar just put a layer of electrical tape before installing the controls

I generally cut 'em off, but whatever you want to do is fine.  Any sort of tape or shim will work just fine if you're concerned about the controls rotating on the bars.  I've used Duct-tape, electrical tape, bits of rubber, thin metal with a liquid gasket, or whatever I have lying around that looks like it'd work well.  Other times, they clamp down just fine on their own.

Missed that reply til now, I'll snap some tomorrow.  Looks pretty good but I'm still planning to lower the headlight/clocks in the future.  Really not a fan of how tight fitting everything is behind the headlight at the moment.

The regular plastic electrical tape didn't work well for me, so I used friction tape.  Now the controls don't budge.
