Hey all, figured I would say hi.  Been living out here for almost three years now, used to have a CBR, but just bought a 2000 M750.  Other than some issues it's been great so far.  Have wanted a Monster for a while.

Oh, this is my bike if any of y'all see me around:

As a fellow 2000 m750 owner, I have to say... your paint is cooler than mine.  Bike's probably cleaner too.  What the heck?

No kidding, welcome!!  Be glad to see you some time.  Some of us meet up almost every Sunday morning to ride/shoot shit/drink beer (not necessarily in that order).  You should bring that paint job out sometime soon and show it off.  Wink

Nice paint, get it done on Island?   Now we just have to get rid of those reflectors!   waytogo

Hey, thanks for the welcome!!  Most Sundays I ride with the MC i'm in, but I could always meet up with you guys one of these weekends.

Thanks for the compliments on the paint, the previous owner had it done at Cosmic Airbrush here on the island.  As much as I like a stock Duc, I do like the paint.  Bike isn't that clean though, I need to re-coat the engine covers and I am going to sand and anodize the rear-sets (black) in the new future.

just a thought, you might want to look into paint or PC for the rearsets...

not too sure how those cheap casty bits take to the dye.

and anodize will tend to fade faster, and you'll have purple sets  Wink
