I have a non street legal '08 Ducati 1098 RED Track bike for trade. I'm looking for a convertible, boat, truck, or a new street legal motorcycle to trade of similar value. Mine is meant for the track only because it has no title. So it can't be legally ridden on the street. Clean, never been down, no issues. No BS please. If you have something to trade, then email me. What do you have...?? Pls don't waste my time if you don't have anything of value.

ducatiz

yeah, big WTF to that.  it's not just unregistered, he has no title!

a 1098 with no title?  uh huh.

It didn't have a title because of the shop that I bought it from.  The bike is less than a year old.  I've been riding it around using my plates from another bike.  It doesn't have any VINs or a title.  The VIN was removed from the bike before I got it.  But again, that's why I got it for half price.  I knew what I was getting before I bought it.

What are the particulars on your bike?  Do you have any photos?

"An honest crook"  should be the definition of Idiot....If you're gonna lie, cheat or steal, it's probably best to be consistent...LOL

ducatiz

the only way it could be legit would be a frame swap with a home-made frame.. but then it wouldn't be cheap, it would be absurdly expensive...

or if you purchased a frame off ebay with a title from some guy who crashed it but didnt have full insurance.

but then again, i wish there were some way to get this bike back to the original owner so we can atleast nail the dude who stole it from him. but in all honesty, that bike looks bone stock. theres no real way to identify it. unless he completely forget that the vin number is re listed under the seat (or where ever they put that sticker)

factory can match the engine number to VIN, they are linked when the bike is imported, DNA will have it.
