Didn't see or hear this coming. Seems like they ran a really good team. Hate to see them go.

I popped in Faster the other day and there is the whole section about Hopper being the second coming.  Guess things don't always work out the way we plan. Roll Eyes

there was plenty of talk near the end of the year about stiggy.. sponsor loss, no 600s, maybe a move to yamaha.. guess they had $ problems.

...wonder how much they actually had to pay john-john.

Guess I missed that talk. Yep, seems like it's all a big money crunch for them. I'm surprised we haven't seen more of this. I thought the Honda pull out of F1 would start an avalanche in all motor sports. Luckily it didn't happen as badly as I expected... knock on wood. Now that you mention it I too wonder how much they payed Hopper and what was the length of his contract? One year, two, etc?? Wonder where he'll end up? Wish Stiggy well, hope to see them back some day.
