Welding is the only way to go.  Then make sure your pipes line up without having to force them.

plumbers tape, a few nuts/bolts, and some red spray paint, until you an get welded.

Thats not something id go for a half ass fix. those cans vibrate like hell. JB weld will not work.

best bet is to sand it down, weld it tig/mig/arc whatever you have available, grind it own and it hit it with spray paint. I doubt any shop would really charge you money for a short 20 second weld if you bring the pieces cleaned and ready. If they dont, be sure to throw them a nice tip.

GTG, got a welder to fix it up in a hurry, rattle can primer and paint...job done.  Did a little altering of the exhaust hanger to make the hole longer so there isn't any pressure on the bolt so should be a long term, solid fix.

BTW Toys for Tots ride was excellent.  >2200 bikes (mostly HD's or wannabe's) did see a NEW Monster 1100S in the lot though.  very nice, anyone on this board?
