i think you're right...  bryant was saying he was looking at this model for his 848.  i called up batteries plus; they said it was $170 +tax... not sure i want to spend that much, when i can get the cheapo for $75... and even if it only lasts a year, i can get another one next year, and still only be out $150...

i should probably check with randy at motopia and see if he has any good deals on batteries he can hook me up with.  need to get a rear tire installed there anyway.  which reminds me...i should probably see if it's even starting now.

isn't the odyssey PC310 the one that should fit your bike?

Not sure on a monster, but I run a PC680 in the SuperSport...

Hey German/Irish guy:

I see you run the YT12B battery ...it is smaller than the YB14 in the SS (no wonder that thing won't start -the 12 is dinky!)

Hero is right -I think you'd need the PC310 ...it's smaller.

got it load tested yesterday and he said it was pulling over 200, so the battery should be okay, right?  that was after about 10 minutes on 75, though...so not sure if that would have sufficiently charged the battery to the point it appeared fine (but wasn't?).  i know jack about batteries and electricity... so i figured if he load tested it and said it looked fine, than the battery is fine.  anyway, i picked up another battery tender jr. (lost my last one somewhere), got home, pulled the battery, and took it inside, where it is now and will remain for the foreseeable future.  maybe i'll just keep the battery inside at all times and just take it out to the bike when i want to ride somewhere (very convenient).

Damn, that sucks dude.  I looked and looked for your BT but to no avail.  not sure if you can wire up some sort of quick disconnect system if you end up pulling the battery every time
