For Dry clutch bikes, what do you guys use and why?

Im thinking about either getting long levers for both, or long clutch/shorty brake.

I want to pick up a set of those FP folding levers before the price goes back up.

Still unsure about the engraving too. Motomummy has them in a matte black level 3 hard anodoziing. Smiley

Shorties give you more options on using handguards in the winter months.  Might not be an issue for you.  Just thought I would mention.

I have short brake and long clutch pazzo levers. Works for me.

I had two shorty CRG's on the monster but will likely go the short brake and long clutch on the 900ss when I upgrade from the stockers. I did not care for the feel of the short lever on the clutch side.

sounds like going long long is the best option for me. I have heated gloves, so winter is not a big deal. the only issue, is the traffic issue, when i squeeze between 2 trucs, sometimes the lever gets caught. but if i can fold hte lever out of the way, it shouldnt be an issue.

long long is the way ill go!

I run shorties on all my bikes...2 of them have dry clutches, and the other's clutch pull is just as heavy as a Duc dry clutch.

The shortys work just fine with a dry clutch...in fact, I think they make the pull easier. I'm guessing due to the different geometry...the easier pull was actually unexpected.

I'd say run whichever you want, regardless of clutch type. I prefer the look and feel of shorties.

I like the look of shorties, but my ASV's are both long.  IMO the short brake was fine, but I prefer the longer lever on the clutch side.  The one short, one long look doesn't do it for me.

I rode my friends Speed triple and didn't like the short lever even with the wet clutch so I guess its all just personal preference.  Maybe its b/c I have really big hands.

i want to scoop a set of these matte black ones so bad as well man...
the only thing stopping me is that I will probably end up with new masters by the end of the winter... and i'm not sure which ones they will be... let me know how you like them. i would go long/long.

Maybe you could go short/short if you upgrade the clutch slave.  I haven't changed either on my bike yet so no fhe on the duc but, i did have pazzo shorties on the old bike and loved them.

I dont think the slave makes it any easier. to me its smoother, but its not noticable easier.

I just emailed motomummy, im getting the matt level 3 anodizeing long/longs engraved with

iħ(∂Ψ/∂t) =  on my cluch and

(-ħ2/2m) ∇2Ψ+VΨ

lol, but i also asked them if they cant do character maps (dont know why) or superscripts ( dont now why), to let me know and ill just get them with my name.
