All of my dogs have done the same thing at one point or another, with varying degrees of severity. It heals fairly quickly.

If it's really bad you can stick a sock on their foot (they love that  )...but your pups doesn't sound that bad. I'd just leave it alone.

If that had an issue, they go to the doctor.
