G'day Everyone,

Well i hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas...

I was Luck enough to get a HD Helmet Cam... only problem is i don't want to stick it on my helmet! (Police might want to have a look at the footage)

Which then poses my next problem, Where the Hell to put it?Huh?

i have taken a few photos of the process

Camera    = $470
Paints      = $20
Metal       = $3
Nut & Bolt = Laying about the Shed

Total       = $493

This is What i previously used.

Great view over the bars, was in a really great spot!

Unfortunately the new fella cant be Secured properly.

With alot of sitting about, thinking where the hell will i put this bloody camera...

I though to myself there is a hole there lets use it!

Looked good just holding it there... But how to hold it there!

Small Bracket made.

Painted in a Special Super Stealth Primer.

Then finished with Super Stealth Black.

Then mounted the camera.

For safety i will be using my trusty friends the Zip ties!

A Video will be added once the weather clears up, from what i can see so far with the test videos is that it is super Crisp!

Only Negative- Recorded clips are in .MOV Format... For those who don't know, Windows does not recognize that format unless converted...

oohhh... the tank bracket, that's a bit scarey, looks like a good way of removing your gonads in an accident.

I've previously mounted my video camera on the trelis frame using a U bolt with plastic tubing to protect the frame. It vibrates a bit so video isn't the best. I'm still working on that.

Any ideas on how to protect the lens? I don't want to get bugs all over it like my headlight. Can you buy filters for video cameras like you can with SLR lenses?

not sure about the filters mate, im working on finding whats best for covering the lens to protect it...

i seem to remember reading somewhere about mounting the camera to the frame, i really wanted to find another spot to avoid the vibration... but then this may not be the best spot either...
